St Luke's CE Primary School
St Luke's CE Primary is a school based across two sites where all children are valued and supported. The staff work as one team across the sites, creating two learning communities, joined by one vision. At St Luke’s, we live by our values of LOVE, COURAGE and HOPE. We have a mission to support all of our community to 'live life in all its fullness' which is rooted in the teachings of the bible, this particular passage being from John 10:10. Linked with this, our vision - 'Knowing we are loved, and through loving others, we live and learn with courage and hope' is embedded throughout the children's time in school. We strive to foster a love of learning through a relevant, creative and personalised curriculum that is progressive and promotes mastery of key skills and concepts.
Having high expectations and aspirations for all children at our school as well as providing enriching and stimulating opportunities for them is what drives us forward in supporting them reach their potential. As a Church of England School, we promote Christian Values and support the children to be reflective, compassionate and respectful whilst exploring the world around them. We have strong links with our local parish of Winton, Moordown and Charminster and enjoy the richness that this adds to our school. Our core values of ‘Love, Courage and Hope’ underpin our school life and support the school’s vision.
